This unit is designated as the 590LD 00 000 model of Eurotherm 590 series of motor control drive units. It is also designated under the ID of 590LD-00-000. The Eurotherm 590 series of motor controllers are primarily a line of devices that operate over the Eurotherm fiber optic cable network.
The Eurotherm 590 lineup are models that are made up entirely of three separate parts, 590 Link Drives, a direct current contractor unit, and a series of alternating current fuse supplies. These models all share a similar array of features between themselves, such as a 16 bit microprocessor unit, the ability to communicate via a fiber optic cable connection, and settings for different speeds of feedback for the direct current contactor module.
The 590LD 00 000 model is a main control card, what’s known as a Door module, for the Link version of the Eurotherm 590 models. The 590L Door module was utilized for the gray colored Eurotherm 590 direct current thyristor drive controllers, with the ability to communicate at high speeds via a fiber optic link.
The 590LD 00 000 model includes features such as the armature voltage feedback capabilities, which aid in the motor speed, with provision for any integrated, optional feedback cards. This unit does also include pop out hinges, which do so with assistance from a screwdriver being applied, and there are also the plug in ribbon cable connections.
