590C-1500-5-3

The 590C-1500-5-3 (also designated with the other ID, 590C/1500/5/3) is a model from the Eurotherm 590 series of Direct Current (DC) Motor Controllers, that are utilized over the Eurotherm fiber-optic cable network. The 590C/1500/5/3 model comes equipped with the standard setup that the majority of the Eurotherm 590 modules have: a 590 direct current link drive module, a direct current contractor, and alternating current supply fusing attachments.

The other features that are standard among devices similar to the 590C/1500/5/3 include the internal 16 bit microprocessor unit. This microprocessor allows the 590C/1500/5/3 to process the usual Eurotherm features. The Eurotherm 590 line of Motor Controllers are programmed with a series of complex control algorithms, which are impossible to replicate and at the very least, are very difficult to surpass, with other simplistic, analog crafted techniques.

The other features that the 590C/1500/5/3 unit’s microprocessor offers is the ability to run the software configurable control circuitry,  which is designed to operate via software blocks. The serial link communications is able to extend to connections with other models of control drives, and even PCs.

The 590C/1500/5/3 is designed with the Eurotherm 590 standard measurements: 445 mm in Height, 250 mm in Width, and 180 mm in Depth. (17.52 in x 9.84 in x 7 in).
