590C-1100-A-1

The Eurotherm 590 series of devices are a range of similar, usually interchangeable equipment, all designed with a single purpose to achieve. These devices are direct current (DC) Motor Control Drives, built to handle managing and controlling the actions of industrial motors.

This unit is listed as the 590C-1100-A-1, though it is more commonly written as 590C/1100/A/1. This module is a device that includes a series of internal equipment, such as the 16 bit microprocessor module. This module is responsible for running the Eurotherm control processes that the 590C/1100/A/1.

The 590C/1100/A/1 module comes outfitted with a series of complex, advanced control and processing algorithms. This coding is designed to ensure that there is no way any simplistic analog techniques will be able to replicate or replace them.

The 590C/1100/A/1 comes outfitted with a trio of Phase 4 converter modules. These three converters are completely regenerative, which means that they are built with a system of thyristor modules and a field bridge. They are able to handle the protective details regarding transience and any possible overloading that may occur. These converters are units that are able to work together with the control  circuitry and are able to provide acceleration/deceleration and speed/torque in both directions of rotation.

The 590C/1100/A/1 is built with the measurements of 250 mm in width, 415 mm in height, and 180 mm in depth.
