About the 590C/1100/9/1
590C-1100-9-1
The 590C-1100-9-1, also categorized as the 590C/1100/9/1, is a piece of equipment that is a part of the Eurotherm 590 series of direct current motor control drives. These drives come outfitted with numerous Eurotherm standard materials, features, and hardware. Externally, the amount of both digital and analog I/O ports vary, but the majority of them are configurable.
Internally, the 590C/1100/9/1 model features several similar components that the Eurotherm series is designed with. The 590C/1100/9/1 is configured with a set of three, Phase 4 model regenerative converter units. These converters are made up of thyristor units, which handle the overload and transient protection capabilities. These Phase 4 converters work together with the associated control circuitry. This control circuitry is able to be configured via the user friendly software.
The 590C/1100/9/1 unit also includes a series of complex algorithms that aid in the unit’s ability to control motor units. These algorithms are complex, and are absolutely unable to replicated by any sort of simplistic analog coding or techniques. In addition to this programming, there is also the capability to communicate with other models of drives and PCs, via a serial link connection.
This unit also includes a field regulator, another standard Eurotherm 590 feature. This regulator consists of a full wave, half controlled, single phase thyristor, which provides either a fixed voltage or a fixed current source, depending on the configuration the user selects.
