About the 590C/0700/6/1
590C-0700-6-1
The Eurotherm line of industrial Direct Current motor control drives, under the umbrella name of Eurotherm 590 Link Series. These models are designed with a series of components, such as a 590 DC Link Drive, a DC contactor module, and a series of alternating current (AC) supply fusing. These Eurotherm DC Motor Control modules are outfitted with a standard array of hardware, and is able to handle the capabilities of fiber optic communications, and is managed by a 16 bit microprocessing unit.
The 590C/0700/6/1 module is a unit that is designed with a set of three Phase 4 module regenerating converters. These converters are a series of units aligned in a quadrant configuration, and operate with a rating of 70 A. These units have a thyristor drive for a main power supply, which routes up to 415 volts of AC throughout the 590C/0700/6/1. There is an additional, auxiliary power supply for this unit, at a rating of 115 volts of AC.
The 590C/0700/6/1 is outfitted with external hardware such as the keypad and the analog tachogenerator feedback board. The terminals that are integrated into the unit are made up of a series of both analog and digital I/O units. There are 5 analog inputs, 4 of them are configurable, and 2 analog outputs, both of which are configurable. For the digital inputs, there are 5, with 3 configurable ports, and 3 digital configurable outputs in total. In addition to these, there is also a tacho input, for feedback.
