These units accepts a standard power intake of three phase alternating current that ranges between 110 to 660 volts. The 590C/0700/6/0 unit is powered by a main supply that powers a maximum amount of 415 volts of AC, and the auxiliary power supply is at least 110 volts of AC.
The 590C/0700/6/0 unit is configured with a trio of Phase 4 Quadrant regenerative converters, operating at a rate that requires 720 A. These converters are the regenerative models of the Eurotherm brand, and are outfitted with numerous components, such as the field bridge unit, and the two bridge thyristor modules that it controls.
The 590C/0700/6/0 model’s control circuit is a software configurable system that is totally isolated from the power circuit. This simplifies interconnection of controllers, and improves the operator safety. It adjusts automatically to accept supply frequencies between 45 and 65 Hz and is immune to supply-borne interference.
