About the 590C/0700/5/1
        590C-0700-5-1
The Eurotherm 590 series of Motor Drive Controllers are units that operate over the series of Eurotherm fiber optic cable networks. These 590 Link Drives are made of a 590 Direct Current Link Drive, a Direct Current Contactor, and a series of Alternating Current Fuses, these three parts are standard for these models.
The 590C-0700-5-1 unit, also designated as the 590C/0700/5/1, is a direct current motor drive. The standard configuration for the 590C/0700/5/1 includes a set of three Quadrant Phase 4 converters, powered at 720 amps. The 590C/0700/5/1’s converters are completely regenerative units.
The Eurotherm regenerative converters in the 590C/0700/5/1 are made up of fully controlled thyristor bridge units, connected by a field bridge, including overload and transient protection capabilities. This works in tandem together with a sophisticated electronic control of both accelerating and decelerating speeds and torque control.
This unit is outfitted with several details and features that are controlled by its Eurotherm 16 bit microprocessor. The microprocessor is responsible for the complex control algorithms, which cannot be simplistic analog techniques. The software configurable control circuitry is built around standard software blocks. The communications are achieved by a serial link system, with other drive units or a PC connection for advanced processing systems.
Physically, the 590C/0700/5/1 is designed with a standard Eurotherm design of 250 millimeters in width, 415 mm in height, and a depth of 180 mm.
The 590C/0700/5/1 unit is refurbished by AX Control, and covered by our detailed warranty.
