About the 590C/0700/1/0
590C-0700-1-0
This unit, given the designation of 590C-0700-1-0, or, 590C/0700/1/0, is a device that is a part of the Eurotherm 590C set of direct current motor control drives. The 590C/0700/1/0 is one of these models that operate over an available Eurotherm fiber optic cable network, and is comprised of three separate parts: a 590 Link Drive module, a direct current contactor module, and a series of alternating current supply fusing.
The 590C/0700/1/0 unit is outfitted with several of the standard features in the Eurotherm lineup, such as the fiber optic communication capabilities, as well as the 16 bit microprocessor. Within all of the Eurotherm series is an option of four types of speeds that the feedback direct current contactor operates at.
The 590C/0700/1/0 unit comes equipped with a completely regenerative series of three Phase 4 Quadrant converters that operate with an energy level of up to 720 amperes. These converter modules are composed of a pair of controlled thyristor bridge units, as well as a field bridge. These components are able to manage the full transient and overload protection capabilities. They’re also able to handle the advanced electronic control of acceleration and deceleration, and speed and torques in any direction or rotation. To aid with the transient and overload protection, a field regulator is fitted into the module’s internal frame, as a Eurotherm standard.
The 590C-0700-1-0 model has a maximum direct current output of 70 amperes. The main power supply is handled with a 3 Phase AC power supply, at 115 volts, while the auxiliary power supply is at 100 volts.
