About the 590C/0350/6/0
590C/0350/6/0
The Eurotherm 590C Link series of Direct Current motor drives are a lineup of motor controller modules that are able interface with the Eurotherm fiber optic cable network. These Eurotherm 590C drives are made up of three separate parts: a 590 direct current Link drive, a direct current contractor, and an alternating current supply fusing system. The standard set of features that the Eurotherm 590C Link line comes equipped with a fiber optic communication system, a 16-bit microprocessor unit. There are four different types of speed feedback and direct current contactor.
This module is designated as the 590C/0350/6/0 unit, and outfitted with a set of three Phase 4 Quadrant converters, which are fully regenerative. These regenerative converters are composed of two controlled thyristor bridges and a field bridge with both transient and overload protection capabilities. These two components are in tandem together with acceleration/deceleration control.
The 590C/0350/6/0 has a series of complex control algorithms, which are not able to be manually configured by analog techniques. The software configurable control circuitry is built around standard software blocks. The unit’s serial link communication is capable of accessing other drives, or a PC, for advanced process systems.
The main power supply for the 590C/0350/6/0 ranges between 220 to 500 volts of direct current. The measurements of the 590C/0350/6/0 are standard for the Eurotherm 590C Link series, with a width of 250 mm, a height of 415 mm, and a depth of 180 mm.
