The Eurotherm 590C line of Direct Current controller units that are used with a Eurotherm fiber optic cable network. The models in the 590C lineup are made of 3 component, with a 590 direct current Link Drive, a direct current contractor, and then an alternating current supply fusing array. Within the entire series of Eurotherm 590C models, there are numerous shared features and details that are standard for these models. Each of the units are outfitted with a fiber optic communication capabilities, as well as a 16 bit microprocessing module. There are four different types of speed feedback for DC contactor units in the Eurotherm 590C models.
This unit is designated as the 590C/0350/5/3 module, and comes with several of the standard Eurotherm details and features. This unit includes a keyboard display integrated into it, as well as an analog tachogenerator feedback board. The setup for this unit is entirely digital, and simple for users to initially set up. The form of the 590C/0350/5/3 is in a four quadrant, fully isolated form. This model is outfitted with a DC thyristor drive, for a 380 V main supply of power, with a 220 V control circuit .
