About the 590C/0350/5/0
590C-0350-5-0
The Eurotherm 590 Link series are a set of direct current motor controllers that are used via a Eurotherm fiber optic cable network. These drives are comprised of three main sections, with a 590 DC Link Drive, a DC contractor, and an alternating current supply fusing. There’s a series of standard features for all of the Eurotherm Link modules, such as a fiber optic communication module, a 16 bit microprocessor, and a there is the configuration option between four different speed feedback direct current contactors.
The 590C-0350-5-0 unit, also designated as the 590C/0350/5/0 module, is a 590C DC Series Drive from Eurotherm. This model is configured with the set of three Phase 4 Quadrant regenerative converters. These converter units operate up to 720 amperes, with a 35 A DC output (at maximum). The 590C-0350-5-0 model’s regenerative converters are made of a pair of controlled thyristor bridges and a field bridge, with transient and overload protection, together with control of acceleration/deceleration, speed and torque in both directions of rotation.
The operational power supply is done with a Phase 3 alternating current power supply, at an optimal rate of 380 V/AC.
All of the Eurotherm 590 Link units are designed for efficient panel mounting using keyhole slots. Plug-in control connectors make the fitting and removal of the unit easier when installing or taking it away for repairs.
The 590C-0350-5-0 series is available from AX Control, covered by our warranty program, as these units are no longer produced by Eurotherm.
