The Eurotherm 591 Plus lineup of devices is available from AX Control Inc. as reconditioned materials. The 591 Plus series were products similar to the 590 series. Both of which were developed by Parker Engineering, and produced and sold by their electromechanical division. They are now no longer in production from Parker Engineering, and are only able as used goods.

This unit in particular is the 591P/0035/500/0011/US, a solid state motor control drive. This unit is one of the several models in the regenerative category of drives. The Eurotherm regenerative drives are outfitted with a different array of internal components, such as the thyristor bridges and overall field bridge, which operates the transient and overload protective capabilities. These modules are paired with a series of fuses, as well as the contactor modules.

The 591P/0035/500/0011/US unit is outfitted with a protective cover. It is made of NEMA 4X/12 graded materials, and painted gray. The dimensions of this model are standard within the Eurotherm 591 Plus line: a width of 200 millimeters (7.87 inches), a height of 375 millimeters (14.76 inches), and a depth of 220 millimeters (8.66 inches). The standard weight  for these units is at least 6.4 kilograms, or 14.1 pounds.

The Eurotherm 591 Plus lineup requires at least 100 millimeters above and below the unit so that it can ventilate excess heat.
