This unit is a part of the lineup of solid state drives in the Eurotherm 590 series, developed by the Parker Engineering corporation. These units are solid state, direct current, thyristor drives. They are outfitted with either regenerative or non-regenerative components. The 590P/0110/500/0010/FR module is designed as a regenerative unit, outfitted with a pair of thyristor bridges, a protective bridge field, and a series of fuses and contractor modules. The bridge field is designed for protective capabilities for overload and transient coverage.
The 590P/0110/500/0010/FR model is outfitted with a supply of 400 volts of direct current, as well as a control supply of 110 volts to 220 volts. The output for the motors under the control of the 590P/0110/500/0010/FR has a standard range of 45 kilowatts, or 60 horsepower at a rate of 460 volts of direct current. The input voltage for this unit is in three phases, ranging from 380/415/440/460 volts.
These units were outfitted with an integrated keypad, as well as an analog tacho generator feedback board. It’s simple to set up in a digital, fully isolated, four quadrant form. There are also a number of several integrated terminals. There are a total of 8 analog ports, 5 inputs, and then 3 outputs, and up to 13 digital ports, with 10 inputs and 3 outputs.
