590P-0015-500-0011-UK

This unit is a part of the Eurotherm 590 Drive series. These devices are designed in order to run in an enclosed system, with the associated power equipment to be controlled. This unit in particular is the 590P/0015/500/0011/UK module.

This unit is outfitted to run on one of the several varieties of three-phase AC Supply voltages, which is implemented to run in the model’s system for the DC shunt field to be powered. The AC voltage also aids in powering the permanent magnet motors. Also provided for this unit is a controlled DC Output voltage and current for the 590P/0015/500/0011/UK unit’s armature and field.

The standard array of internal hardware for this unit includes a DC Link Drive and contractor unit, and a 32 bit microprocessor module. The microprocessor is designed to provide the 590P/0015/500/0011/UK with advanced capabilities and features.  There are complex controller algorithms that the microprocessor is able to process, and the circuitry for this unit is designed to be built around a standard set of software blocks.

This drive must be able to properly dissipate and ventilate the excess heat that it generates while operational. The 590P/0015/500/0011/UK model is required to be mounted vertically to allow for a free flow of cool air to pass through it. Leave a minimum of 4 inches (100 mm) of clear space above and below the unit, and when mounting units above each other, ensure that there is at least 7 inches (175 mm) of space.
