About the XPC08VT-GC-4P3
Parker CTC manufactured the XPC08VT-GC-4P3 as part of the XP Series PowerStations. This unit has an 8" display with Active Color TFT. The XP Series comes with original online manual materials that provide users with important information regarding installation and maintenance of the PowerStations. One of the manuals gives users an overview of the part number breakdown. This allows users to know certain specifications of the unit when just looking at the part number. XPC08VT-GC-4P3 Hardware Inclusions
The XPC08VT-GC-4P3 can be installed in a NEMA 4/4X enclosure. The NEMA rating only applies when the unit is in the enclosure. The XPC08VT-GC-4P3 also has a chemically resistant touchscreen which helps when the unit is exposed to harsher environments. Table A-7 in the user guide lists the chemicals that the screen is resistant to.
Keep the PowerStation away from environments with:
- Dust
- Oil
- Moisture/humidity
- Corrosive vapors
These can be damaging to the unit even when it is installed in an enclosure.
