The PA215T-133 is one of Parker-Hannifin’s PA2 PowerStation Color touchscreen HMIs. The PA2 series was designed by Parker to replace their earlier PA series. It is also an excellent replacement for other early HMI units from other manufacturers and offers a slim profile, easy drop-in replacement with clip mounting, and many standard features.
The PA215T-133 is a 15-inch touchscreen display. While the majority of PA2 PowerStations offer native VGA resolution, the PA215T-133 has 1024x768 XGA. It can run in VGA mode and will automatically adjust its display. The brightness level on the PA215T-133 is 250 NIT. Its bulb life is set at 40,000 hours and the unit weighs approximately 13.8 pounds before it is boxed for shipment. External dimensions of the PA215T-133 are 13.3 inches by 16.8 inches by 5.19 inches.
The PA2 series offers multiple standard software options for alarming, networking, and graphics. It also has optional Interact software modules that will allow you to use the unit for more advanced functions like recipe management or historical trending. The HMI has multiple connectivity options through USB ports, serial ports, and its Ethernet port, as well as a CompactFlash drive. The CF can be removed and is used as non-volatile memory storage. However, the CF should not be removed while the PowerStation is on. It is advisable to have an additional CF card on hand to act as a backup for your primary card.
