The PA208T-135 is part of the PA2 PowerStation line of HMIs from Parker-Hannifin. This series of slimline human-machine interface panels offer a number of screen sizes from six inches to ten inches, and also includes unit without a display. All units offer software modules for Networking, graphics, and alarming. The PA208T-135 has a 640 x480 resolution VGA monitor (8-inch).
The PA208T-135 can connect to several devices at any time, using the HMI’s 100baseT Ethernet connection, two USB ports, and two serial ports. One serial port is designed for RS-232 and the other is configurable for RS232/RS-422/RS-485. The unit also has a removable CompactFlash drive (please do not remove while the unit is in use.)
The PA208T-135 can replace many other popular operator panels and share standard cutout dimensions, including earlier Parker PA models. The unit is designed to drop in and clip into place. The PA208T-135 has a 4/4X rating. This model includes Class 1 Div. 2 approval.
The PA208T-135 offers multiple interface options through its two USB ports, which allow for the addition of a keyboard and mouse. The analog resistive touch screen can also be used for input. This unit has full-color graphics, runs on a ROM-DOS 6.11 operating system, and typically uses an AMD LX700 433 MHz CPU.
