Product Description

The ISM1412-01 model is just one of the many In-Sight Micro System models. They are used for getting into small and hard-to-reach places. This model is a stand-alone, network-ready, vision system. There is no color bit depth associated with this model and is only a two hundred fifty-six grey level unit, which is also known as eight bits per pixel, this model is the same as the other models as long as there is no C revision at the end of the part number. The maximum pixels associated with the ISM1412-01 model is 1280 x 1024. 

As previously mentioned this model is in the micro-series and is noted as such by the dimensions. There are two dimension types which are either with or without the mounting block. The model's dimensions without the mounting block are a length of one point eighteen inches by a width of one point eighteen inches by a height of two point thirty-six inches. 

There are several compliance standards associated with the ISM1412-01 vision system which are CE, FCC, TÜV, EU RoHS, and several others. There is also a specific model type associated with the compliance standards and this unit which is type 821-0078-1R. 

One precaution that must be taken when installing this unit is to ensure that it is not exposed to any extreme hazardous environments, which can include but are not limited to excessive dust, impact, humidity, moisture, and several others. The  ISM1412-01 is of the Cognex 1412 specification. The Cognex 1412 vision systems and the Cognex 1402 vision systems are the only two specifications that accept the In-Sight version 4.6.0 as the minimum firmware requirement. The 1412 Cognex is very similar to the 1500, in that it has a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor type. The properties of this sensory type are a 8.7 mm diagonal and 5.3 x 5.3 micrometer square pixel specification. The 1412 Cognex vision system is unique to the 1500 in that the maximum pixel resolution is 1280 x 1024 compared to either the 640 x 480 or the 800 x 600 options of the Cognex 1500.
