Product Description

The ISM1110-01 model from the In-Sight Micro Series Vision System is one of the few units within this series to only have a singular toolset. The only toolset associated with this model is the ID toolset. The features of the ID toolset are as follows; text reading and verification (OCR/OCV), image filters, and 1D/2D barcode verification and reading. The OCV/OCR tools on this model are used for reading and verifying alphanumeric text strings; the font editor on the ISM1110-01 model is used to refine the readability of some of the poorest fonts or potentially degraded characters. 

The cables that are typically used in association with the ISM1110-01 unit are breakout, Ethernet, and I/O module cables. Each of these cables has a variety of different lengths, the lengths associated with the breakout cable are 15, 10, 5, 2, and 0.6 meters. The breakout cable is primarily used to gain access to the system’s high-speed and trigger outputs. This cable can connect to several devices such as a strobe light, trigger sensor, and even PLC. The connector type associated with this model is an M8 connector. 

There are five pins associated with the breakout cable. Each of the pins has different signals and wire colors. For example, pin number four is a black wire and the associated signal is TRIGGER-. When connecting this cable to the ISM1110-01 model please note that it will connect through the I/O connector, which is specifically designed for providing connection to the high-speed outputs and acquisition trigger input.
