ISM1100-01

Product Description

Model number ISM1100-01 is one of the many In-Sight Micro Series Vision Systems that was designed to be used in on-floor factory settings. When being used in on-floor factory settings the model can be used to assemble a factory-wide network of the Cognex Vision Systems. Not only can this model be used in a network of vision systems but it can also be used for inspection tasks that are typically single-point. 

One feature that makes this vision system an excellent purchase is that it is very compact. The dimensions of the ISM1100-01 model are all under three inches, whether equipped with or without the mounting block, in width, height, or depth. Because of the small dimensions associated with this model, it is best used in applications that are typically hard to reach. 

On the back of the ISM1100-01 model, there are three connectors, these connectors are underneath the I/O connector close to the left edge of the system. The three LEDs are labeled LED1, LED2, and ENET. LED1 will be green to indicate that it is active and using the Discrete Output Line 4 which is user-configurable. If using a CIO-MICRO or CIO-MICRO I/O module then the output line will be line ten. 

The PoE Connector which is also on the back of the ISM1100-01 model, will provide the Ethernet connection for network communications and also supply the power to the device. Please note that the I/O module being used for the power supply should not be active while connecting any of the wirings. Connecting the wires while power is active can result in a potential shock or even in severe cases death.
