Product Description

Model number ISM1020-01 was one of the original Cognex In-Sight Micro Vision Systems to be produced. During the operation of this model, it has the ability to perform several automated functions which include identification, inspection, robot guidance, and measurement. All of these automated functions can be performed on the factory floor and if connected to a network can be easily configured remotely through the network using the EasyBuilder user interface. 

The standard components that come with the ISM1020-01 model are the vision system itself, the extension ring used in relation to the lens type, specifically the C-mount lens, and the mounting kit which includes the M3 screws. The vision system can provide job storage, vision processing, image acquisition, discrete input, and output options, and finally Ethernet connectivity. The image acquisitions that are associated with this model are full-frame integration, rapid reset, and progressive scan. 

While this vision system only has a standard resolution it can still perform a wide range of functions. The ISM1020-01 model can handle some of the highest-speed manufacturing lines even though it has one of the smallest vision system footprints available. Note that the standard resolution associated with this model is in the range of six hundred and forty to four hundred and eighty pixels. 

It is vital to note that the only tool set available with the ISM1020-01 model is the essential toolset which has quite a few features including but not limited to the findings of edge, curve, blob, and lines, as well as image filters.
