The IS8401M-363-50 records monochrome video, capturing data with a 1/1.8 inch CMOS global shutter sensor eye in 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution at a rapid reset acquisition rate of 76 fps. To attach the IS8401M-373-50 model to a fixture, use a C-mount, and the only interface possible for the 1 input port is a Gigabit Ethernet. There are 2 high speed output ports, a barcode reader (1-D/2-D), and OCR and OVC capabilities. The IS8401M-373-50’s software includes important programs such as PatMax and PatMax RedLine, which Cognex designed, developed, and patented for flaw detection in assembly line product, and also includes Spreadsheet, JavaScript capabilities, and  EasyBuilder, InspectEdge, which inspects edges, and also lines, curves, and blobs on assembly line products.

Essential software in IS8401M-373-50 includes monitoring and filtering capabilities, geometry, histogram, and program recognition, formatting and parsing strings, and a built-in caliper assessment does nonlinear calibrations for product.
