IS7430-01 is a Cognex camera that is part of the InSight Vision System. This camera has 512 MB non-volatile flash memory and unlimited storage via a remote network device. The image processing memory is 256 MB SDRAM. The sensor ia a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with a 5.3 mm diameter. The sensor is 5.3 x 5.3 µm sq. pixels. The camera resolution is 800 x 600 pixels. The electronic shutter speed is 16µs to 950ms. The acquisition is rapid reset, progressive scan, and full-frame integration. The bit depth is 256 grey levels at 8 bits/pixel. The camera operates at 102 full frames per second. The lens type is an M12 or C-mount.
A bracket is only shipped with the vision system if it is the integrated M12 configuration. The c-mount does not require a bracket. Neither of the enclosures offered for this series are explosion proof. The outer shell of the camera is made of die-cast aluminum and has a plastic yellow overlay. Power is not supported over an Ethernet connection and must be provided separately at +24 V. All models in this series have the OCR tool. The screw holes on the back of the camera do not conduct electricity to the signal ground, because they are isolated from each other. The lens cover is keyed and can be installed by matching up the cover keys with the housing. C-mount configurations require firmware version 4.7.1 or higher, and integrated configurations require firmware version 4.7.3 or higher.
