The IS7010-01 is a 7010 Model In-Sight 7000 Series smart camera vision system manufactured by Cognex. This is an entry-level model that is ideal for processes that require inspection tasks. Specifically, the IS7010-01 is the perfect step up from vision sensors that are too limited to perform the necessary function. It has a speed rating of 2x and an acquisition rating of 102 fps. Additionally, the IS7010-01 has an 800 x 600 resolution and utilizes the EasyBuilder user interface. This smart camera vision system supports base tools and color tools. Please note that base tools refer to the following: contrast, brightness, edge, pattern distance, point-to-point geometry, angle, plot & blob, and distance tools. The color tools include color identification.
Like most In-Sight 7000 models, the IS7010-01 has a power consumption of 24 VDC (+/- 10%) at 2 amps. It is equipped with the standard 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with 5.3mm diagonal, 5.3 x 5.3 µm sq. pixels sensor properties. Its electronic shutter speed ranges from 16 µs to 950ms and can capture a maximum of 102 full frames per second. The acquisition for the IS7010-01 can either be rapid-reset, full-frame integration, or a progressive scan. This unit can support up to 3 inputs (general purpose) and up to 4 outputs (high speed). The IS7010-01 can be mounted via 4 MC mounting holes (all of which are threaded). The unit has an aluminum housing with a painted finish.
