About the IS5613-01
IS5613-01 is a fixed mount ID reader from Cognex’s Insight 5000 series. Designed to function as an ID reader, this device pairs advanced OCR/OCV technology and a proprietary software to efficiently read codes. This software, IDMax, can intelligently read and verify both text and 1-D and 2-D barcodes. This code processing occurs at a rate of 7200 ppm. High performance characteristics of this unit include a 1 GHz processor. This is used to run the Cognex tool library, a comprehensive database of all accessible ID tools. When images are captured on the IS5613-01, they are rendered into a 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution using the 256 MB of available image processing memory. To save jobs and programs, an additional 128 MB of flash memory is available for this. Dual high speed networking ports, an Ethernet and a 10/100/1000 BaseT protocol, provide network interfacing capabilities.
