Product Description

As with other models in the In-Sight 5000 series, the standard memory for the 5605 models is 128MB non-volatile flash memory and 256MB image processing memory. There is unlimited storage for the flash memory via a remote network device. Sensor type/properties, shutter speed, and resolution are where the IS5605 cameras differ from other models.

Cameras in the IS5605 Vision System series have a 2/3-inch CCD sensor and a 28.8µs to 1000ms shutter speed, capturing 16 full frames per second. The resolution of these cameras is 2448 x 2048 pixels.

The IS5605 cameras have two high-speed discrete outputs built-in into the device. They do not have any built-in discrete inputs. Discrete inputs and additional discrete outputs can be made available using a compatible I/O device. The use of a compatible I/O device also enables RS-232C serial communication.

This 24VDC camera has five status LEDs on the face of the unit. Three of these indicate the status of the unit’s power, network status, and network traffic. The remaining two are user configurable. This unit supports DHCP, link-local static IP address configuration, and has one ethernet port.

IS5605 cameras have two slightly different operating temperature ranges they can withstand depending on the air circulation in their mounting location. In non-circulating air environments, a range of 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F) is acceptable. With additional circulation temperatures from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F) can be tolerated.
