The Cognex IS5605-01 is a high performance vision system developed for the Insight 5000 series. Clear images are guaranteed when using this high resolution model. This unit produces the highest resolution images of any in the series, a 2448 x 2048 pixel resolution. The lens is capable of capturing 16 full frames per second, which compliments the overall system’s 20 times speed rating. 256 MB of available image memory processes each captured image, while an additional 128 MB of flash memory provides storage space for various jobs and programs.
Not only is this system a high resolution one, it is also a high performance system. An integrated 1 GHz processor ensures that the Cognex tool library runs at top speeds. This library features a number of tool and identification capabilities, providing an exceptional user experience. These tools include items such as nonlinear calibration, barcode identification, and pattern matching. IS5605-01 comes standard with two high speed networking ports, an Ethernet and a 10/100/1000 BaseT protocol, for system interfacing. External I/O modules can also communicate with the device via a RS232C connection.
Installation and storage parameters provided by the manufacturer should be followed to protect the integrity of the device. Temperature restrictions have determined that IS5605-01 should be housed in a controlled area. While the device is operating, temperatures can safely range from 32℉ to 113℉, or 0℃ to 45℃. Be sure to take storage temperatures into consideration as well, as these can impact the device even when not on. Ambient storage temperatures must be maintained between -22℉ (-30℃) and 176℉ (80℃).
