The IS5604-00 is the baseline model in the 5604 line in Cognex's In-Sight 5000 series. Unlike most models in the In-Sight 5000 series, this is a line scan vision system. It possesses features such as a 44k lines per second line rate and a 1k line scan resolution. This allows for the IS5604-00 to capture high-resolution, defect-free imagery at high speeds. These factors make this model a great choice for industrial situations in which a line scan system is optimal. The sensor type of this model is a 1-inch CCD.
5600 Features
As a member of the 5600 family, the IS5604-00 has a 20x speed rating when compared to the Micro 1020 model by Cognex, which puts this model at the high end of the In-Sight 500 series in terms of performance. It also has standard features such as a C-mount lens type, a painted aluminum housing, and IP67 protection with the lens cover installed. The IS5604-00 comes in a compact frame, weighing only 585 g, or 20.6 oz.
