The In-Sight IS5403-S01 Vision System features an ASTM 316L stainless steel housing with a electropolish passivated finish.
The IS5403-S01 employs up to 128MB non-volatile flash memory and storage through a remote network device. The amount of extra storage depends on the memory device specifications. The installation site must have a connection that provides 24VDC minus or plus 10% power at 500mA.
The image resolution memory is 256 MB. The sensor type is 1/1.8-inch CCD. The weight is 907 g (32.0 oz.) with the lens cover but no lens included. The image bit depth of the In-Sight IS5403-S01 Vision System is 256 grey levels (8 bits/pixel) at 14 full frames per second. The resolution is 1600x1200.
The minimum firmware requirement for the IS5403-S01 is In-Sight version 4.4.3.
The Ethernet port supports the 10/100 BaseT standard. A RJ-45 connector provides the jack for it. For serial support, a RS-232C port is part of the device. The breakout cable is used for many connections. There is one connector for the breakout cable on the device. It carries serial, trigger, power, and high-speed outputs.

Exposing the device to vibration at the rate of 10 G from 10-500 Hz with 150 gram lens using IEC 68-2-6 is allowable. Exposing the device to shock is allowable at 80 G shock with 150 gram lens attached per IEC 68-2-27 is allowable.
