Product Description

The In-Sight IS5403-11 Vision System features Power, Network Status, and Network Traffic indicator LEDs. It also contains two user-defined lights on the front. The IN-sight 5403 is a Hi-Res system with PatMax. 

The operating temperature of the In-Sight IS5403-11 Vision System is 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). The operating humidity is 95%, non-condensing (operating and storage). The Ingress Protection rating is IP67 (with a lens).

The vibration rating is 10 G from 10-510 Hz with 150-gram lens per IEC 68-2-6. The shock rating is 80 G shock with 150-gram lens attached per IEC 68-2-27. The vibration rating and shock rating apply to conditions encountered if the device is shipped or being stored.

The minimum firmware requirement for the IS5403-11 is In-Sight version 4.4.3.  The IS5403-11 uses In-Sight Explorer software via a networked PC.  Cognex 5403 In-sight Manuals will help you with its application and basic training. 

The device must be power sourced with 24VDC plus (+) or minus (-) 10% at 500mA. The amperage is a maximum power rating.

The IS5403-11 contains 128MB of non-volatile flash memory. Storage through the use of an external device connected through  Ethernet is also available. You must supply the external storage and the connection to access it.

For processing images, the contains 256 MB of memory dedicated to that purpose. 1/1.8-inch CCD is the type of sensor. The weight is 350 g (12.3 oz.). The weight doesn’t vary if a lens protector is installed. The IS5403-11 is enclosed in a die-cast aluminum housing. This provides some protection but not from harsh environments.

The image bit depth of the In-Sight IS5403-11 Vision System is 256 grey levels (8 bits/pixel) at 14 full frames per second. The resolution is 1600x1200.

The In-Sight IS5403-11 Vision System features one 10/100 BaseT Ethernet port with an RJ-45 connector and one RS-232C port for serial communications. The breakout cable provides the connection for serial communications, power, trigger, and high-speed outputs.
