Product Description

The image bit depth of the In-Sight IS5401-10 Vision System is 256 grey levels (8 bits/pixel) at 17 full frames per second.

The temperature of the IS5401-10 must be between  0°C and 45°C (32°F to 113°F) during operation. The operating  humidity is 95%, non-condensing (operating and storage). The Ingress Protection rating is IP67 (with a lens cover installed). The vibration rating (shipping and storage) is 10 G from 10-510 Hz with 150 gram lens per IEC 68-2-6. The shock rating (shipping and storage) is 80 G shock with 150 gram lens attached per IEC 68-2-27.

24VDC plus or minus 10% power at 500mA maximum must be provided to the device in the installatiation.

The RJ-45 connector serves as the connector for the 10/100T Ethernet port. The device also contains one RS-232C port for serial communications and other functions. Power, trigger, and other outputs are fed over the breakout cable. The breakout cable is used for serial port signals.

The In-Sight IS5401-10 Vision System features Power, Network Status, and Network Traffic indicator LEDs. It also contains two user-configurable indicator LEDs.

The IS5401-10 contains 128MB non-volatile flash memory and unlimited storage through a remote network device. 256 MB of memory provides for image processing memory. The resolution is 1024x768. The sensor is ⅓-inch CCD. The weight is 350 g (12.3 oz.) with the lens cover installed and without the lens. The IS5401-10 is wrapped in a die-cast aluminum housing.

The minimum firmware requirement for the IS5401-10 is In-Sight version 4.4.3.
