The main features of the IS5400-C01 are its color vision and 128 MB program storage memory. The color is useful for differentiating objects that a purely grayscale vision system may not be able to. The improved memory capacity allows for more data to be stored on the vision system device. This memory capacity can be boosted further as needed with use of a remote network device.
5400 Features
Being a 5400 model, the IS5400-C01 has a high frame rate of 60 full frames per second, a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, and a 1/3-inch CCD sensor type. Additionally, the speed rating of the IS5400-C01 is 12 times that of the baseline Micro 1020 model. These features allow for clearer images to be taken when dealing with fast-moving objects. This vision system is enclosed in a compact, painted, die-cast aluminum frame. The device weighs 350 g or 12.3 oz with the lens cover installed but without the lens.
Technical Information
The minumum firmware supported by this model is In-Sight version 4.4.3. Versions 5.1.0 and higher are not supported on this device.
