Cognex Visions is the manufacturing company behind the development and production of their In-Sight series of units. These units are built and designed within a similar frame of features, specifications, and even in aesthetics, each of them painted with the majority of their frame the standard Cognex shade of yellow, with black accents. The In-Sight lineup has several different categories that each unit falls into, and this unit, listed as the HF9HA-1B, belongs as an attachment to several In-Sight 5000 models.
The HF9HA-1B is a 9 millimeter lens attachment. However, rather than being designed solely by Cognex Visions, was designed and manufactured as a Fujinon product. The HF9HA-1B achieves a high image resolution of up to 1.5 megapixels, provided the camera is powerful enough to support that resolution. The iris range is from F1.4 to F16. This lens is built for low distortion, which enables a true to life image input. The lens is outfitted with a focal and iris lock tab, which is able to support environments which may have a large amount of vibration.
The HF9HA-1B is outfitted with a metal C-mount, which can attach it to a Cognex In-Sight 5000 module The In-Sight 5000 units are designed with a standard set of measurements: 43.1 millimeters x 124.2 mm x 61.4 mm. The power intake for the In-Sight 5000 series is 24 volts of direct current, or also 500 milliamperes.
