Installed with the In-Sight Explorer EasyBuilder, the Cognex VisionView PC software, and outfitted with the VisionView 900 Human Machine Interface (HMI) touchscreen panel in order for users of any experience level with Cognex brand vision sensors.
With twice as fast processing speed as that of the 110 Mini model, the IS2000M-120-40-L18 has image modes of the 640 x 480-pixel resolution standard, but also capable of x2 magnification, with either the 6.2 millimeters or 16 mm liquid lens autofocus. The standard lighting system that’s equipped and fully integrated into the unit is the modular red LEDs requiring 24 volts of direct current and 48 watts of power. The optional blue, infra-red, or white LED rings are compatible. Band-pass lens filters and polarizing covering are also compatible with the LEDs. Able to locate and identify patterns in assembly-line products by evaluating pixel count in monochrome grayscale, because of its monochromatic CMOS.
Made with a compact, IP-65 rated aluminum figure, only 43.1 millimeters in length, 22.4 mm in width, and 2.51 mm tall, and weighing approximately 140 grams, this mini model has been tested with a high voltage shock test and an intense vibration at its three main axis points.
The mini models have a reduced field of vision when compared to the regular-sized In-Sight 2000 models, with a width of 75 to 200 millimeters, depending on which sized lens the unit is equipped with, the 6.2 mm or 16mm.
