IS2000C
6 Input/Output Ethernet trigger ports capable of high speed data and transfer, 24 direct current volt consumption, tested to handle 1000 shocks and 10 Gs of vibration for two hours, operating temperature range of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and condensation proof under 95% humidity. The IS2000C sub-category has some of Cognex’s strongest, heavy-duty industrial sensors. The products available with this serial number are the IS2000C-120-40-125, and the IS2000C-130-40-125.
Designed to be as user-friendly as possible for assembly line workers, the IS2000C designated models are equipped with LED lights to display device status, like power and the Pass/Fail indicator, and actions, such as data transfer and linking up.
In order to properly evaluate the assembly line product, the IS2000C series are equipped with the In-Sight 5.3.0 version firmware, and capable of housing 160 megabytes of memory for program and image processing. A ⅓ inch CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) imager processes visuals, and captures it with the standard 8 millimeter lens, held by its S Mount. Numerous other lens sizes are compatible as well; 3.6 mm, 6 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 25 mm. The electronic shutter speed is as fast as 0 to 1000 milliseconds, and its maximum acquisition speed is 55 frames per second.
The image resolution varies slightly between the two models. The IS2000C-120-40-125’s resolution is 640 by 480 pixels, and the IS2000C-130-40-125 has the same standard resolution, but once magnified, it reaches 800 by 600 pixels. For the image bit depth, both products are in 24-bit color.
