IS2000-120
The second in Cognex’s In-Sight 2000 listing of industrial vision sensors capable of automated inspection, identification, and measurement.
The physical description remains standard of the line of matches the same description as the others in the series—the same aluminum casing, yellow and black, and with the Cognex logo beneath the LED lights. Those lights, of course, indicate operations like Power (green), Trigger Status (blinking orange), Error (red), Pass/Fail (yellow), and Network Connection (blinking orange).
The IS2000-120 is a sturdy, yet a fairly small product. Weighing 200 grams, or 7.05 ounces, and 92 millimeters (3.62 inches) long, 60 millimeters (2.36 inches) wide, and 52 millimeters (2.04 inches) tall. The IS2000-120’s average operating temperature ranges from 0°C - 40°C (32°F - 104°F).
With the Cognex In-Sight 5.2.1 firmware installed, the IS2000-120 holds 160 megabytes, and uses 32 of its memory for run identification programs and function while keeping up with a high-speed assembly line, and uses the remaining 128 MB of its memory as SDRAM in order to maintain its image processing capabilities. Standard visual resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. Acquisition speed of 40 fps, and an 8-millimeter standard lens and S Mount. 3.6 mm, 6 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, and 25 mm lenses are also compatible.
There are 2 optoisolated inputs and 4 optoisolated output lines. The optional CIO-1400 I/O expansion module includes 15 additional IO ports, 7 input, and 8 output. Four M3 threaded mounting locks are attached to allow the product to be mounted to a wall or any surface.
