About the DMR-850-00
The DataMan line of barcode readers are built with several different capacities. The DataMan 150/152 and 260/262 immobile scanners are meant to be mounted into a wall above an inventory belt line, and then, there’s the handheld scanner models, the 800/850/855 series, meant for more hands on monitoring and scanning. All of the DataMan scanner modules are given the ability to scan at least 1-D type barcodes, with more advanced models being outfitted with 2-D matrix and QR code types. The DataMan 850 scanner—the DMR-850-00—is a handheld barcode scanner, outfitted with:
- a 1.3 megapixel imager
- fast and accurate data delivery on the 1-D type barcodes and 2-D matrix codes and quick response (QR) codes
- a 624 megahertz microprocessor that’s capable of decoding 1-D and 2-D codes in milliseconds
- a completely sealed cover
The DMR-850-00 is corded, high performance and able to withstand several drops onto rough, concrete surfaces from a height of up to 6.5 feet, or 2 meters.The DataMan 850 scanner is able to operate successfully despite a workplace environment full of noisy machinery and poor external lighting. Integrated into the DMR-850-00 is a system of LED lights, high power and fully adjustable, and a set of volume configurable auditory alarms.
