This product, for sale from us at AX Control, was initially developed and produced by Cognex. Cognex is one of the leading producers of optics and visual based scanning and monitoring assembly line hardware.
This series of code scanners from Cognex is what’s known as their DataMan series, with categories divided into numerical ID designations of 150, 152, 260, and then 262, which is what the DMR-262X-1542-P unit is a part of.
The DMR-262X-1542-P is outfitted with the software package deal of both 1-D and 2-D scanning capabilities, 1DMax with Hotbars II, which allows it to be able to recognize 1-D codes that have been stacked, oriented in an irregular fashion, or omnidirectionally printed codes. The 2DMax software program has algorithms that run the processes to be able to understand 2-D matrices. The printing quality of the labels don’t matter at all, or even if the labels have suffer from some damage, if a section of the code is missing, or if the matrix code has been printed onto the product itself.
The DataMan line of products are integrated with a number of solid state hardware elements. No moving parts at all, such as lasers or raster components, so as to cut down on time needed for repairs. There is an auto tune button, and a set of 6 isolated, discrete I/O units (divided into 2 input ports and 4 output ports) and a high powered lighting system made up out of 4 LED lights, so that there is no need for an external lighting system.
