About the DMR-152S-00
This item is one of the several products from Cognex, the manufacturers of many different kinds of industrial technology and materials. The 152 designation in it’s manufacturing part number makes it a part of the 152 category of Cognex’s DataMan series. (There are also the 150 model, the 260 model, and the 262.) The 152 models are programmed with 1-D and 2-D barcode scanning software, 1DMax and IDQuick. 1DMax allows for the DMR-152S-00 to decode and understand 1-D barcodes that have been damaged or printed in a low quality label or with poor printing methods. It’s able to read and examine labels that are as small as 0.8 pixels per model. IDQuick allows for high speed 2-D readings.
The DMR-152S-00 has two configuration set ups: the in-line and the right angle configurations, which allow for a much more efficient placement to anywhere in the workplace. It also gets rid of the need for redesigning the workplace, or for having to set up an additional external optical path made of mirrors. Its dimensions are a standard 43.1 mm x 22.4 mm x 55 (63) mm, in the in-line setup, and then 43.1 mm x 28.8 (35.8) mm x 49.3 mm while in a right angle.
