Product Description

F4-08DA-2 Analog Voltage Output Module is designed to operate with a user-supplied power supply. The F4-08DA-2 Analog Voltage Output Module is a 8 channel analog voltage output module. The output ranges are 0-5VDC and  0-10VDC. The number of channels is 8, single ended (one common). The resolution is 12 bit (1 in 4096). The power budget requirement is 80mA at 5VDC (base power). The environmental air requirement is no corrosive gases permitted.  The operating temperature 0–60°C (32–140°F). The relative humidity 5–95% (non-condensing).

The output points required is 16 (Y) output points 12 bits binary data, 3 bits channel select,1 bit output enable). One jumper is available on the rear of the module. When the  jumper is installed the module powers all eight channels at 0–5VDC. When the jumper is removed, the module operates all eight channels at 0–10VDC.

The F4-08DA-2 Analog Voltage Output Module contains valuable hardware features.

  • The module optically isolates outputs from the PLC to improve signal quality.

  • The terminal block is easily removable to ensure the F4-08DA-2 Analog Voltage Output Module is easily removable without disconnecting wiring.  

  • If a DL440 or a DL450 CPU is used, all four analog outputs may be set in one CPU scan.

16 discrete output points in the CPU are required by the F4–04DA–2. The module can be installed in any slot of a DL405 system, including remote bases. The available power budget and the number of I/O points are limitations you must consider.
