Product Description

Installation of the F4-08DA-1 Analog Current Output Module can be made in all the slots of a DL405. The number of I/O points and the power needed by all components is important. Hardware features contribute to the value of the F4-08DA-1 Analog Current Output module.

• The module optically isolates inputs from the PLC to improve signal quality.

• Removing the terminal block is easy.  

• From one to eight analog outputs can be updated in one CPU scan.

Specifications of the F4-08DA-1 Analog Current Output module.

• Current output for the module:  4-20 mA.

• Channels that are on the module: 8. The channels are single-ended and one common is included in the module.

• Resolution:  12 bit (1 in 4096).

• Sink is the output type: From 4 to 20 mA is the range.

• Power from an external source must be supplied from 21.6 to 26.4 VDC, 100 mA, class 2

• (add 20 mA for each current loop used).

• Loop power supply must be 8 VDC (with load resistance in proper range).

• No corrosive gases are allowed in the operating environment.

You must supply one or more field-side power supplies. The same or separate power sources for the module supply and loop supply can be used. The required digital current output points are 16 (Y) output points (12 bits binary data, 3 bits channel select, 1 bit output enable).
