The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo D4-64ND2 is a DC input module. A member of the DirectLogic 405 series, this 64 channel module interfaces with programmable logic controllers from the same family. All 64 of the module’s inputs are current sourcing channels. Eight isolated commons act as the terminating points for all of these channels.

When dealing with voltages and currents, monitoring this data is suggested to prevent unnecessary damages. D4-64ND2 supports an input voltage range between 20 and 28 VDC. The peak voltage that the module can sustain measures at 30 VDC. Registering an ON voltage requires levels greater than 20V, while OFF voltage needs less than 13V. When operating on 24 VDC, input currents for the device measure at 5.0 mA. The minimum ON current required by the module is 3.6 mA, with a maximum OFF current of 2.6 mA.

Unnecesssary damages can be avoided by following all outlined installation and storage parameters. Temperatures of the facility housing D4-64ND2 can affect the quality of the device. When operating, temperatures should fall no lower than 0℃, or 32℉, and raise no higher than 60℃, or 140℉. Storage temperatures should also be taken into consideration, should the device not be in use. When in storage, acceptable temperatures range from -20℃ to 70℃, or -4℉ to 158℉.
