D4-32TD2 is a DC output module developed by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. A member of the DirectLogic 405 series, this module is designed to interface with DL405 programmable logic controllers. This module can also communicate with a number of other modules and peripheral devices. All 32 channels found on this module are current sourcing outputs. Each point terminates into one of the four isolated commons built into the device.
Voltage and current levels should be monitored to protect the integrity of the device. D4-32TD2 requires an operating voltage of 10.8 to 26.4 VDC, with a peak voltage measured at 30 VDC. Outputs for this device are a PNP open collector type. While operating, each channel can sustain a maximum resistive current of 0.2 A per point. Each common can withstand a maximum of 1.0 A per common, while the module as a whole cannot accept more than 4.0 A.
Following all provided installation and storage parameters will prevent the device from incurring any unintentional damages. Temperatures of the housing facility can affect the integrity of D4-32TD2. While the device is operating, ambient temperatures can safely range from 32℉ to 140℉, or 0℃ to 60℃. Storage temperatures can also affect the module and should be well regulated. When not in use, temperatures can fall as low as -4℉, or -20℃, and raise as high as 158℉, or 70℃. Refer to the series manual and device datasheet for a complete installation and wiring guide.
