The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo D4-32TD1 is a DC output module. This 32 channel module was developed for the DirectLogic 405 series of programmable logic controllers. The device is capable of interfacing with other peripheral devices as well. Each of the 32 channels is a current sinking output point, with all terminating at one of four isolated commons in the module.
As the module manages voltage and current outputs, monitoring these levels can prevent overloading or damaging the device. An operating voltage between 4.75 and 26.4 VDC is required for proper module function. The peak voltage the device can sustain measures at 36 VDC. D4-32TD1 produces an NPN open collector output type. Each of the 32 channels can sustain a maximum resistive current of 0.2 A per point. The four commons can each withstand a maximum resistive current of 1.6A per common.
All outlined installation and storage protocols should be followed. Those directions will prevent D4-32TD1 from incurring any unnecessary device damage. A temperature sensitive device, this module should operate in a climate controlled setting. Ambient temperatures of the operating facility can safely range from 32℉ to 140℉, or 0℃ to 60℃. If the device is not in use and placed in storage, temperatures of that facility should be maintained as well. Temperatures there can fall as low as -4℉, or -20℃, and raise as high as 158℉, or 70℃.
