Product Description

The D4-02DA is an Automation Direct Direct Logic 2-Channel digital to analog output I/O module.  This module is part of the DL 405 family.   Direct Logic PLC control systems are designed to work together as compatible CPUs, Inputs and Outputs, and Bases. 

The D4-02DA  has a twelve-bit resolution (1 to 4096) and an output range of 0-10V and 1-5V at 4-20 mA.   Channels are individually configurable with the range determined by the field wiring connections chosen by the user.    This unit uses single-ended outputs.  

The D4-02DA offers noise immunity to NEMA 1CS3-304 standards.  It has stock and vibration resistance (MIL STD 810C 514.2/516.2).  This unit should only be used in locations where no corrosive gases are present where the temperature remains within 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit in relative humidity levels of 5 to 95% non-condensing. 

The D4-02DA is designed with a removable terminal block to allow the until to be removed or changed out without the need to disconnect wiring.   The unit requires 32 discrete output points from the connected CPU.   It is designed for flexibility and can be installed in any slot of a DL405 system, including slots within remote bases.   The unit requires a separate power supply and has a current load requirement (impedence) of 5 and 500 ohms with a voltage load requirement (impedence) greater than 2K ohms.
