F3-08TRS-1 is an eight channel relay output module designed by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. A member of the DirectLogic 305 series, this module is capable of interfacing with series controllers and modules, as well as external peripheral devices. As the module is a relay device, it is capable of producing both AC and DC loads. These signals are transmitted via the eight channels on the module, with each terminating individually. Two output types are supported by this module: 2 Form C (SPDT) and 6 Form A (SPST).
Monitoring incoming and outgoing voltages can protect the device from unnecessary damage. A base power requirement of 9V 37 mA/ON pt. (296mA max), 24V is needed to operate. F3-08TRS-1 registers a minimum load of 100 mA at 12 VDC. Operating voltage ranges depend on the current type in use. Operating ranges include 12 to 125 VAC, 125 to 250 VAC (requires external fuses), and 12 to 30 VDC. The module’s channels can support a peak voltage of 265 VAC or 120 VDC. The module and each point features a different maximum resistive current rating, with each point capable of sustaining 10A AC/DC and the module capable of 32A AC/DC.
Be sure to follow all provided installation and storage parameters to prolong the longevity of F3-08TRS-1. The module is temperature sensitive, so ambient temperatures should be closely monitored. When operating, temperatures can range as low as 32℉, or 0℃, and as high as 140℉, or 60℃. If not in use, storage temperatures should be carefully maintained. Acceptable storage temperatures range from -4℉ to 158℉, or -20℃ to 70℃. Refer to the device datasheet and user manual for a comprehensive installation and wiring guide.
