The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo F3-08TAS-1 is an eight channel alternating current (AC) output module. This module is a member of the DirectLogic 305 series of modules, compatible with DL305 programmable logic controllers. All eight channels are isolated, with each output terminating individually. Output types are Solid State Relay (SSR), featuring Triac with zero cross over. AC outputs can connect to a number of peripheral devices, allowing the device to interface with a number of different units.
Voltages should be monitored to prevent the device from being overloaded. With eight outputs on the module, it features a 1500V point to point isolation. F3-08TAS-1 includes an operating voltage of 20 to 125 VAC, with a peak voltage of 140 VAC. An AC frequency of 47 to 63 Hz can be expected with the operating voltage. The maximum current sustainable by each channel is 1.5 A per point. The minimum load of the module is 50 mA. Status indicators for the device are found on the logic side of the module.
Following all installation and storage parameters will prevent F3-08TAS-1 from accruing unnecessary damages. When operating, ambient temperatures of the facility should be monitored to maintain a safe range. Temperatures can safely range from 0℃ to 60℃, or 32℉ to 140℉. Storage temperatures can also affect the device, if not stored properly. Storage temperatures can safely fall as low as -20℃, or -4℉, and raise as high as 70℃, or 158℉.
