Product Description

The D3-08TD2 is a DirectLogic output module.  This is one of many modules for the DL305 available here at AX Control, including input and output modules, CPUs, and bases.  The DL305 is an expandable, customizable PLC system designed for industrial control of a number of small applications. 

The D3-08TD2 is a 24 VDC output module with 8 outputs.  The unit has 2 internally connected commons per module.   This module uses NPN transistor emitter-follower output type.   It has a peak voltage of 40 VDC and a max current of 0.5A/point, 1.8A/common.    The unit has two non-replaceable fuses, one 3A per common.  The terminal board on the front faceplate is non-removable. 

Output modules like the D3-08TD2 are typically assigned a YO through Y777 address.  Keep this in mind when setting up your system.  

Module placement is important as you design and build your DL305 system.  Be sure to take temperature and humidity readings into account when planning your system.  Additionally, wiring must remain as short as possible between modules. 

The D3-08TD2 is designed as a circuit board with a front faceplate.  The faceplate includes indicator lights and the previously mentioned terminal strip. The circuit board includes integrated circuits, vertically mounted resistors, and transistors.  The unit is CE marked and is also UL listed.
