Product Description

The T1K-08B is an Automation Direct Terminator I/O module base.  This component is designed for use with Automation Direct Terminator I/Os.   This is a modular system of terminal blocks and I/O modules that connect into rows of bases.  The system is designed to be modular with up to sixteen modules per node.  Each of these nodes can then be divided into a base I/O and two rows of local expansion via a base extension cable. 

The T1K-08B uses a screw-type terminal.  The recommended torque is 1.77-3.54 lb.in.  The manufacturer suggests using a screwdriver with a blade size of 0.02 x 0.125 inches. 

I/O bases and modules are designed to be mounted horizontally with at least 183 mm between units if they are installed within a cabinet.  This is to ensure proper airflow.   All installation must have a connection to ground. 

If your installation is close to the upper or lower limits of proper ambient operation conditions, consider whether the installation of auxiliary equipment to support cooling or heating should be added. 

All enclosures for this system should conform to electrical standards and protection from the elements within an industrial environment.   The unit should not be installed where it may be subjected to corrosive gases.
