The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo T1F-16DA-2 is a sixteen channel analog voltage output module. A member of the Terminator I/O series, this module is capable of communicating with a variety of different devices, modules, and programmable logic controllers. All sixteen of the device’s channels terminate into a single common, offering a single ended output. The device’s 12-bit resolution works to convert the outgoing digital signals into an acceptable analog voltage medium.

Monitoring incoming and outgoing voltages helps to prevent unnecessary damage to the device. T1F-16DA-2 supports two output ranges, 0 to 5 V and 0 to 10 V ±5V ±10V. Peak output voltage of the module spikes as high as 15 VDC. A base power requirement of 75 mA at 5 VDC is needed to support the module. When preparing to install the module, be sure to buy the proper mounting rack in addition to the module. The rack highlights a key design feature of the series, a simple snap installation process. This allows the user to manually install and remove individual devices with ease.

Following all storage and installation parameters will prolong the life of the device. When mounting, install T1F-16DA-2 horizontally. This ensures that air can freely circulate around the module, acting as an outside cooling agent. Temperatures of the facility housing the module should fall within the acceptable range. Ambient temperatures can safely range from 0℃ to 55℃, or 32℉ to 131℉. Storage temperatures have more flexibility, with the lowest sustained temperature reading -20℃, or -4℉, and the highest reading 70℃, or 158℉.
